These terms cover your use of the Teal Apex Solutions website. The terms of any specific engagement (a software build, an advisory retainer, a fractional leadership arrangement) are set out in a separate written agreement we sign together.

Teal Apex Solutions is a brand of Teal Apex Group LLC, an independent technical practice. By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The content on this site is provided for informational purposes. We try to keep it accurate and current, but we make no guarantee that everything is complete, up to date, or suitable for your particular situation. Nothing on this site is legal, tax, financial, or other professional advice.

Forms and inquiries

Submitting a form on this site (contact, project intake, newsletter signup) does not create a client relationship. A client relationship begins only when we sign a separate, written engagement agreement.

Engagements

Each engagement we accept is governed by its own written agreement. That agreement sets scope, deliverables, timeline, investment, ownership of work product, confidentiality, and any other terms that matter for that specific project. If there is a conflict between these site terms and an executed engagement agreement, the engagement agreement controls.

Intellectual property

• The site itself (design, copy, code, and marks) is the property of Teal Apex Group LLC. Do not copy or republish substantial portions without permission.
• Engagement work product is governed by the executed engagement agreement.
• The photography used on this site is licensed under the Unsplash license.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site to:

• Send unsolicited commercial messages through the contact forms.
• Attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access.
• Interfere with the site's operation or with other visitors.
• Misrepresent who you are.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Teal Apex Group LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of this site. Our total liability arising out of this site is limited to one hundred US dollars.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in King County, Washington, unless a separate engagement agreement provides otherwise.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the last meaningful update. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
